Spanish Tuition Fees

  • Our base currency is SGD. If you’d like to pay with other currencies (such as USD, AUD, CAD, GBP, EUR, etc) we shall do conversion from SGD.
  • There is a one-time registration fee of SGD35/USD27.
  • All learning materials from the teacher are provided FREE of charge.
  • The minimum hours required for us to set up a program is 6 hours. 
  • For purchases above 24 hours, 24-hour rate applies. For purchases below 6 hours, 6-hour rate applies. 
  • Do read our Terms and Conditions of Service below the Price List; it covers Class booking, Lateness, Absence, Replacement classes, Homework, Refund policy, Use-by date, etc.
  • The prices listed below are for Private Classes (1:1).
  • Fees for Semi-Private Classes (2 students in a class):
    – 2 (two) students in a class= 160% of listed price 
    Example: 2 IB Ab Initio students taking a 12-hour Package:
    Total fees for 2 students = 160% x SGD504 = SGD806.40
    Per student = SGD806.40 / 2 = SGD403.20
  • Fees for Group Classes (3 students in a class):
    – 3 students in a class= 200% of listed price
    Example: 3 IB Ab Initio students taking a 12-hour Package:
    Total fees for 3 students = 200% x SGD504 = SGD1008
    Per student = SGD700 / 3 = SGD336

Terms & Conditions of Service

1. General

  1. All Spanish classes are conducted online via Zoom, Google Meet or Teams with a ‘live’ teacher. Classes are not pre-recorded.
  2. Students may choose from the following lesson formats: private lessons (1 student), semi-private lessons (2 students) or group lessons (3 or more students).
  3. Students are responsible for ensuring they have the necessary equipment and technical requirements to attend our online Spanish classes: a computer, stable internet connection (broadband or reliable Wi-Fi), microphone, speakers and webcam (optional). 

2. Fees and Invoice Terms

  1. Tuition fees, lesson packages, and related charges may be revised from time to time. Any such revisions will be published on the Spanish Faster official website for reference.
  2. Notwithstanding the above, the tuition fees, terms, and conditions stated in the official invoice issued to the student shall prevail and be binding.
  3. Once an invoice has been issued and accepted through payment, the fees and terms stated therein shall remain fixed for that package and shall not be affected by subsequent price changes.
  4. Unless otherwise stated, each invoice is valid for seven (7) calendar days from the date of issuance.
  5. Spanish Faster reserves the right to revise or withdraw an invoice that has not been paid within the validity period.

3. Payment

  1. All classes must be fully PRE-PAID to a bank account or payment channel designated by Spanish Faster.
  2. Classes will only commence upon receipt of full payment and a valid Proof of Payment.
  3. Accepted payment methods include: Paypal, Bank Transfer, Credit Card, Debit Card, Western Union, Alipay, and ATM deposit (for customers in Singapore, Indonesia, China, and Japan).
  4. Payment instructions will be provided after the student confirms (a) the selected lesson package, and (b) the preferred payment methodd.
  5. Students are responsible for ensuring that the full invoiced amount is received by Spanish Faster. Any bank or transfer charges incurred shall be borne by the  student and may be deducted from the total lesson hours if underpaid.
  6. For each payment made, students must submit Proof of Payment to both  Spanish Faster and the assigned tutor.

4. Teacher assignment

  1. Each student will be assigned ONE DEDICATED TEACHER for continuity of learning.
  2. If a student is dissatisfied with the assigned teacher, Spanish Faster may, at its discretion, arrange a replacement teacher subject to availability. 
  3. Teachers provide instruction and assist with homework strictly during scheduled lesson time only.   

5. Break

  1. Teachers are entitled to a short break after every 55 min of class.
  2. Break times are as follows: 1h lesson: 5 min | 1.5h lesson: 5 min | 2h lesson: 10 min | 3h lesson: 15 min

6. Booking and Confirmation of lessons

  1. Only pre-paid classes may be booked. 
  2. Lessons are considered booked and confirmed once the student and teacher mutually agree on the lesson day and time.
  3. To book classes, inform your teacher and Spanish Faster of your preferred days/time, giving maximum options regarding your availability.
  4. Students may book lessons in stages, keeping in mind the Use-by date for the purchased package.
  5. Students are advised to book lessons for days/time they can commit to, as late changes may result in deductions from paid hours. 
  6. For prepaid  lessons that are not yet scheduled, Spanish Faster does not guarantee the same teacher or time slot in future.
  7. To secure the same teacher and schedule for the NEXT batch of lessons, students are encouraged to prepay early so that  slots may be reserved.  

7. Changes to Lesson Schedule (Cancellation/Rescheduling/Postponement)

  1. Students may cancel, reschedule or postpone up to 10% of their booked lessons without any penalty, provided at least 24-hour notice is given to both the teacher and Spanish Faster.
  2. Cancellations, rescheduling or postponements with less than 24-hour notice will result in the full lesson hour(s) being deducted from the student’s paid hours.
  3. All schedule changes must be communicated by the student or parent (for child students) to both the teacher and Spanish Faster and reconfirmed by email.
  4. If a teacher cancels or reschedules a lesson with less than 24- hour notice, the student will be entitled to an additional penalty-free rescheduling opportunity, beyond the 10% allowance.

8. Replacement/Make-up lessons

  1. Students may request replacement or make-up lessons for up to 10% of booked lessons, subject to providing at least 24-hour notice.
  2. Replacement or make-up lessons may be conducted on a different day and/or with a different teacher, subject to availability.
  3. Spanish Faster will arrange a make-up lesson if a class is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances on the teacher’s side, including power failure, connectivity issues, illness, or force majeure events.

9. Absence without notice

  1. Failure to attend a scheduled lesson without prior notice will be deemed an “absence without notice”.
  2. In such cases, the full lesson hour(s) will be deducted from the student’s paid hours.
  3. No replacement or make-up lesson will be provided for absences without notice.

10. Lateness

  1. If a student does not respond at the scheduled lesson time, the teacher will follow up via Zoom and email.
  2. If there is no response after 20 minutes, the teacher is entitled to leave the session and the lesson will be treated as an absence without notice.
  3. If a student informs the teacher in advance of lateness, the teacher will conduct the lesson for the remaining scheduled time only.  
  4. If a teacher is late, the teacher will compensate for the lost time in a future lesson.

11. Homework

  1. Any homework assigned will be reviewed and corrected withinin lesson time.             
  2. Requests for homework correction or academic assistance outside lesson time will be charged by deducting equivalent time from the student’s paid hours.
  3. School-related homework assistance and additional explanations are provided only during scheduled lesson time.

12. Use-by date

  1. Lesson packages must be used within the following periods from the date of the first lesson: 6h = 8 weeks | 12h = 14 weeks | 18h = 22 weeks | 24h = 28 weeks                       
  2. Unused lessons after the use-by date cannot be redeemed, refunded or transferred.
  3. Requests to extend the use-by date may be considered subject to an adjusted registration fee of 1.5 to 2 times the original amount.

13. Refund policy

  1. Students may discontinue lessons at any time within the use-by date.
  2. In such cases, Spanish Faster shall be liable to refund only 60% of the remaining value of your Tuition Fees within 45 days, after adjustment based on hours consumed at prevailing rates at the time of billing.
  3. The remaining 40% shall be retained as administrative and operational costs.
  4. Any transfer charges incurred for the refund shall be borne by the student. 
  5. By discontinuing lessons, the student is deemed to have accepted and/or consented to this refund policy.

14. Communication and Support

  1. Students are encouraged to save Spanish Faster’s contact details and WhatsApp number (+628112640109) for timely assistance.
  2. Helpdesk support is available Monday to Friday, 10:00–18:00 (Singapore Time), excluding public holidays.
  3. Responses will generally be provided within 24 hours during operating hours.
  4. For official matters, communication should be made primarily via email, followed by WhatsApp chat if necessary.
  5. Urgent matters requiring management attention should include spanishfaster[at]gmail.com in the email copy.

15. Additional admin services

Requests for additional administrative services, including but not limited to school reports, progress summaries, or official documentation, may incur additional fees.

16. Last-minute Exam Preparation

Requests for exam-focused lessons made close to examination dates will incur additional charges, as follows:
• 2–4 weeks before the exam: additional 30% of the package fee
• 1 week before the exam: additional 50% of the package fee

17. Agreement

By enrolling in and using Spanish Faster’s services, students acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to all the terms and conditions stated above.
